MTK Driver Installation
Download the latest MediaTek USB VCOM drivers for your Windows PC (Windows 7/8/10/11).
For Windows 8/10/11, you may need to disable driver signature enforcement:
- Go to Settings > Update & Security > Recovery
- Click "Restart now" under Advanced startup
- After reboot, select Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Startup Settings > Restart
- Press F7 to "Disable driver signature enforcement"
Extract the downloaded driver package and run the installer as Administrator. Follow the installation wizard.
To verify drivers are installed correctly:
- Connect your powered-OFF MediaTek phone to PC via USB
- Open Device Manager (Right-click Start menu > Device Manager)
- Look for "MediaTek USB Port" under Ports (COM & LPT)
IMEI Repair Process
Ensure your MediaTek phone has at least 50% battery. Backup all important data before proceeding.
Dial *#*#3646633#*#* or *#*#54298#*#* on your phone to enter MTK Engineer Mode.
If these codes don't work, you may need a third-party app like "MTK Engineer Mode" from Play Store.
Use a PC repair tool like:
- SN Writer Tool
- Maui Meta 3G
- Chimera Tool
- Octoplus Box
Follow the tool instructions to write your original IMEI numbers. You'll need:
- Original IMEI 1 and IMEI 2 (15-digit numbers)
- Correct MP0B_001 file for your device model
- Proper connection in Preloader or Brom mode
